Ride These Great Canadian Music Streams This Week!

We need to support our Canadian musicians until we are privileged to be able to see great music live again. Through these tough and strange times music is a great healer. Luckily for us there is the magic of the internet and social media to connect us and deliver our fix of all the types and styles of the music we love during this pause.

Here is a list of some streams you can jump into to get your much needed fix.

June 2-7:30 EST

Stephen Stanley and Ron Hawkins from Lowest of the Low will be reuniting via streaming for their #theshowmustbepaused. Stephen will start the set and Ron will follow. All proceeds and donations go to Black Lives Matter. Please check it out here.

A party, plus a much needed showcase on youth and educators who are making a big difference in their communities during the pandemic. Check it out on WE.org.

June 7-1 p.m. to 3 p.m.

ET: Song Session George Stroumboulopoulos hosts performances from Partner, Simone Denny, Ammoye, Royal Wood, the Trews, Mponda (Matata 6), STORRY, Lexxicon, the Jerry Cans and many more. Proceeds from the event will go towards providing free online music therapy sessions for frontline healthcare workers and their families.

These are just a small sample of the performers that are putting on some great online shows during this weirdness. If we have missed any or if you are a musician that wants to promote your upcoming stream please contact us and we can add them to the upcoming lists. Support Canadian music!!
