There is a new, fun animated video of Rush's The Spirit of the Radio from the 1980 album Permanent Waves which is celebrating its 40th anniversary this year. Fantoons.tv created the new video for the famous lead track from Permanent Waves with lots of great eye candy for Rush fans, and some fantastic tributes to Canadian radio and the people who made it legendary.
Watch it a few times, and if you are not familiar with the names, look them up to see what part they played in making Canadian radio what it is today.
There is a fantastic Super Deluxe Box Set re-issue of Permanent Waves to commemorate the 40th anniversary, with plenty of incredible bonuses for Rush fans and music fans and historians alike, including live cuts, two tour programmes, a 40-page hardcover book with previously unreleased photos, liner notes, three replica backstage laminates, a poster and three handwritten lyric sheets from Neil Peart and more! Check it out!
