The Awesome Music Project Canada

Music moves us. It has the power to heal and get us through tough times.

The Awesome Music Project Canada, created by Terry Stuart and Robert Carli is a heartfelt collection of personal stories from a diverse group of people from all across all of Canada. Over 100 Canadians share intimately, how music was able to get them through challenging times and how the power of music changed their lives for the better. From grief, anxiety, depression, bullying and even space travel, these stories reinforce how music plays an important part in our mental health.


With contributions from celebrities like Sarah McLachlan, Rick Mercer, Theo Fleury and others, but more importantly intimate tales from Canadians of all different backgrounds, occupations and ages that have felt the impact of music on their well being. The Awesome Music Project Canada: Songs of Hope and Happiness also contains scientific research proving that music is indeed good for us!


Proceeds from The Awesome Music Project will support music and mental health research starting with CAMH - The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health. The Awesome Music Project also contains GCCB favourite, Chris Hadfield, and how he has used music to overcome grief and the isolation of space.
