The Toronto Maple Leafs clear the track for Eddie Shack as they snag him from the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1973! You can say they had a nose for value!







July 4th








Punch Imlach begins his second shot at General Manager for The Toronto Maple Leafs in 1979.















In 2012, Zach Parise and Ryan Suter sign with the Minnesota Wild. Each receive an landmark 13 year contract!

Don Cherry is replaced as head coach of The Boston Bruins by Fred Creighton in 1979, after bringing the Bruins to the finals in 1977 and 1978 against their bitter adversaries The Montreal Canadians for truly amazing and history making hockey!
